Take a Word: Birdlife

Back from Extinction.
My deepest concern is that there seems to be a huge list of birds and animals on the verge of distinction or have gone.
What will be left for our future generation to admire and be intrigued by?
The work done by naturalists all over the world, needs to be applauded and supported.
Bring them all back from the edge of extinction.

Very thought provoking piece! Thank you for sharing your feelings and process for this piece. We all need to look at our footprint and how it affects other species on earth - great reminder. Cheers!

A stark piece of art and commentary, Glenys. A movement statement. (My entry is about one of the victories.)

I shouldn't be smiling because your message is a serious and timely one but Ann (Taluula) featured two flamingos in her take on the theme and I was thinking to myself that they have come to grief in yours.
Seriously, this is a touching and beautiful artpiece. I love it!

Well my friend, what a masterpiece this is, and I can only imagine the work that has gone into creating it ..... superb. Also, a very timely message!

Love your creation even it's really sad. The message is clear. Makes me think to the disparition of the Dodo.. In Paris au "Jardin des plantes" there is a large room where they placed all of the extincted species (animals) and it is frightening ..
I really appreciate your work
Bravo
